Are you an experienced and motivated civil engineer?
Ideally you would be chartered, but if you have a strong design consultancy background and are working towards chartership, we would still be very keen to talk to you.
You will have gained experience over a range of different project types and have a sound working knowledge of the relevant British Standards, Codes of Practice and CDM regulations. A full driving licence is essential too.
With this expertise you will be involved across the full project life cycle, from preparing fee quotations, managing project expenditure and technical report writing. Your written and interpersonal skills will be excellent to work as an integral part of the project team in site and design meetings. This will include liaising with regulatory bodies, clients and architects.
You should be familiar with:

Highway design of access roads, pavements and hardstandings;
SuDS design;
Preparation of both Section 104 and Section 38 applications;
Preparation of flood risk assessments; and
Design of flood protection measures.
